You need all your traffic to be going through the VPN, through either something like openVPN, a VPN application (i.e. tunnelbear) or having an always on VPN through your router.
get a decent vpn that has a installed/non browser based program
Your computer should have a vpn setting you need to set it up with whatever service you have and turn it on. Once connected then boom vpn done.
I wouldn’t use apps like that, I wouldn’t trust them. Just download whatever you want to watch directly.
