3. I currently do this. It’s a feature of pfSense which is the name of the operating system I use on my home router.

   Basically I run three OpenVPN clients on it and then have them specified as a load balanced group.

   Requests I make over the internet then choose one of those at random. So for example if I’m using Bittorrent to download a file (even a single file) it will split the requests and all three connections get saturated evenly.

   It also work for Windows Updates, Mac updates, Steam downloads. All of these appear to use multiple connections simultaneously to make the transfers faster and so they work great with a balanced group.

   Before I did this load balancing I would max out my connection around 150Mb-200Mb/s but with three in load-balance I’m able to hit my full line speed which is 400Mb/s same as you 🙂
