That’s kinda the point of a VPN. Most VPN services have multiple servers in multiple locations though, so you could run one in the desired area. That or maybe proxy site after the VPN.
Note: I’m not using the VPN for tinfoil hat privacy, so I’m not paranoid about shopping, I just prefer to have the VPN on for reasons that are off topic.
So yeah, all I want is for Chrome to always tell sites I’m in the UK regardless of my IP. It can be done in the dev console, but in a fiddly way that requires you to keep the dev console open, so I was hoping someone had a more generalized solution.
just pick a UK server.
switch your homepage from google.com to https://www.google.co.uk/ncr

So you want a site to track you even more than it currently does?
You could probably use the built in location tool in chrome to change it to somewhere else.
