1. If your torrenting the files, it safe to turn off your VPN when you pause everything your seeding and leeching. IMO it’s not a bad idea to keep your VPN on all the time.

2. Mine would be on all the time if not for Hulu and Netflix.

3. You can check if you have the split tunneling option in your VPN. That way you can decide which applications would use the VPN connection rather than everything.

   Additionally, check for a browser extension for your preferred browser.

4. I would use your VPN all the time. By using a VPN even when you don’t download it allows your internet connection to still remain encrypted.

   This prevents advertisers, websites you visited, and your Internet Service Provider from selling your data and throttling your speeds. If you use the VPN while its off, they can literally see every site you visit and sell that info to advertisers willing to pay for it.

5. Most torrent clients provide the option to bind to the network. By binding to your VPN connection, all torrent activity stops when the VPN is dropped.

6. It`s OK to do that, and no problem to keep it on all the time too.
