با VPN در رفت به نظر می رسد بسیار خوب مورد توجه توسط بیشتر ولی شکایت من شنیدم است چرا که آنها در حال مستقر در ایالات متحده که برخی آن را دوست ندارم.

1. NSA uses mirrors to intercept and store all data traveling to and from the US mainland from fiber optic cables.
2. US government can issue gag orders to VPN/ISP/WEBSITES to not to release their ongoing “investigation” so companies aren’t allowed to share US gov. requests for certain period of time. They can be forced to keep logs and decrypt your data and they can’t inform you about it.
3. US government regularly shares intel/data with other 14 eyes countries, especially with 5 eyes countries so if you reside in one of those country and use US based VPN, your country/government will know about it if they want to. (you can be tracked through your payment system, social media, website logins you do on your VPN or see #1 and 2.)
4. US has internet unfriendly DMCA and copyright laws, you can be prosecuted under it or your VPN providers can be forced into giving up your data.
5. This is the most important part: All US based sites and web services are required by law to keep logs for minimum of 3 months.
Im not an expert…but i think they can be made to keep logs of specific people if law enforcement gets involved. Im not an expert. Govt agencies in the USA have far reaching tentacles and some untested boundaries because its too expensive to fight against such requests. The devil is in the details.
All VPNs “keep logs”. It’s all about how and what they log. That’s why it’s always better to go with a company outside of the Five Eyes.
it doesnt matter if theyre BASED in US if youre from europe and use their european servers. then your data wont go to USA at any point.
The VPN buys server capacity from service providers. They might or might not log traffic, and they might or might not be instructed to do certain things by their courts and law enforcement agencies.
I believe they all keep logs, regardless of what they say, maybe some more than others. I could be wrong but honestly there is no 100% guarantee if they do or don’t. Some will say that you have to trust that your provider doesn’t keep logs.
