1. Try Nord [vpn service china](https://www.anta.net/best-vpn-for-china/). I read in one article that some vpns are still working there. It is the only way to get access to the Internet. With a decent vpn service you are able to watch different movies, listen to music, communicate with people.

2. Am in China now using Reddit with no VPN. Vpns can be used here and used daily by most foriengers and a lot of Chinese. It’s not legal but everyone does it, the way most things are in China.

3. legal?? no… 🙂 BUT… your best bet is to head over to ExpressVPN.com and talk to them there.. They are the experts on that kind of thing and can give you what you need to know… let us know in here please.. 🙂

4. Before you leave (if you haven’t already) download the VPNs beforehand. I’ll list some good ones: MacOS: Star VPN Windows: Psiphon 3 or Lantern iOS: Star VPN Android: Zero VPN or Lantern.
   Most of these can’t be downloaded inside of China, but if you are already inside, I recommend searching for the apk file of zero vpn.

5. I’ve successfully used strongVPN on two different visits to China. Probably not legal, but it worked and allowed me on reddit, Gmail ect.
