    For some reason Google likes to know who is searching for what.

  3. Yeah I couldn’t get past one recently. Kept asking to pick out signs with no end in sight. Searched with Bing instead.

  4. I gave up after 3 rounds of “select the pics you think it’s correct and I’ll tell you why you’re wrong”.

  5. I’ve noticed the same thing lately. It’s not just Google sites too, all sorts of random sites prompt me to check the “not robot” box.

  6. to be honest, with pia lately theres been less captchas than last year. probs because ipleaktest says ISP: google….

  10. It’s google’s way of keeping tabs on everyone on the internet. That along with Google Adwords and Google analytics on a very large number of sites mean they can see you almost anywhere.
