1. iOS in general is terrible for VPNs. leaks like 80 years old.

   The downside is you won’t be able to connect to any website if your VPN server is down

3. It’s been shit since I can remember. Same setup works flawlessly on my Mac.

4. I have ExpressVPN, works fine. It does drop the WiFi speed a bit but nothing noticeable with the basic things I do.

5. I haven’t had any trouble at all with openVPN Connect on my iPhone or iPad.

6. iOS has some problems with how it manages wifi/LTE handoffs and particularly with sleep mode (the VPN is disabled until the device wakes, so background operations are done off of the VPN) but these are OS level problems and not the fault of the OpenVPN app developers.

7. Use a Pixel 2 XL and there’s no trade offs. Android is the better xP
