  1. All that means is that your VPN is using Google DNS servers. Assuming that your normal network adapter is set to automatic, and you don’t see your ISP server in the leak test, then you probably don’t have a leak.

    If you are worried about your VPN service using public DNS servers, then you should consider using a VPN service that uses their own private DNS resolvers.

  2. If your VPN is using Google DNS that’s a good thing. Billions of requests go through Google. You want your DNS request lost in a sea of requests. Since the originating IP is your VPN server Google doesn’t track you this way. VPN’s that use their own DNS are actually less random and less secure because their traffic is nothing compared to Googles.

  3. On Android/iOS I believe Google’s DNS is used as a fallback if the ones picked by the server aren’t working.
