  1. Misleading headline. It should read: Many *BROWSERS* Leak Customer’s IP Address via WebRTC Bug

  2. As the other poster said, it’s a browser issue, which is why you need to use a browser like Firefox along with the uBlock Origin extension that allows you to prevent WebRTC leaks.

  3. use VPN’s in built leak protections, and disable webRTC. why webrtc is popping today everywhere like it was just discovered? saw on other subreddits about this too….

  4. Its not the VPN provider, its Java (you can disable it)…which is usually on browsers.

    But if you use TUN/TAP mode to connect, then no leak.

    If you use proxy, then leak.

    If you use VPN on the router, not leak.

  5. So if I have Chrome with uBlock Origin, and WebRTC Control is there anything else I need to do?
