  10. For a person who has never had a cat before this is probably the best introduction. Calicos are one of the most loving, cuddly sort of cats ever. I have never had one not be a lover, Tabbys a close second.

  20. FoUnd one when she was 5 wks old (ish). She slept one me like that until she was to big to fit on my shoulders. Now she lays on me for noon naps and bedtime….. generally whenever I’m laying down….

    Your dad is his/her security blanket now!

  30. People simply don’t understand the power of pets. I didn’t want to get a pet, but my friend gave me a kitten 11 months ago when I was very depressed (long story).

    Since then I quit drinking, quit smoking, have gone back to school, got over my crippling depression, found a new life purpose. Turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me in my adult life.
