Some ISPs have really bad international bandwidth but good domestic bandwidth. I don’t know if this could be the case with the ISP you are using in Hungry. With your VPN off, go to [beta.speedtest.net](https://beta.speedtest.net) and manually choose a test server location that is outside of Hungry to see what kind of speed you get to a server outside the country. If the speed is also slow then this would explain why your VPN is slow. Otherwise, it might just be bad peering between Hungarian Telenor and your ISP at home. Generally, commercial data centers have better peering than residential internet connections. You may want to consider running your VPN server on a VPS instead of at home.
