   In theory, yes.

   However, due to Murphy’s Law (and Murphy was an optimist), the VPN connection may not always work in Thailand. And Pandora may not like VPN’s, or they may not care.

   To be brutally honest, your odds at much higher if you’re in a dense urban area (like Bangkok or Chiang Mai), far less if you’re in a rural area.

3. you can test some free openVPN servers based on other countries before buying proper one. free servers are slow as hell, paid service most likely works as fast as your normal internet unless you have some crazy 1GB connection.

4. I’m also currently living in Asia, and a vpn has been just fine for pandora. Most paid vpns offer a trial period, id give that a go and see if it works. Just make sure you are completely connected to Seattle or San Francisco (for example) before you open up pandora.

5. If you are going for a paid subscription you could have an issue with payment on the site also if you don’t have an American card. Some paid services are very picky with how you pay.

6. Yes Pandora works over VPN for me.

7. Most smartDNS services support Pandora and unlike VPN they won’t slow your connection. No need to pay for Pandora if you don’t mind listening to some adds. I’m using one from ibVPN, btw.
