2. One way of doing this, is to set up ssh-forwarding and then direct your Spotify client to use that port. Though, I am not 100 percent if Spotify has this feature like Firefox does.

   The ssh-forwarding can be done on Linux-systems, Windows and Apple computers.

3. Others have given good responses with alternative options, but to answer directly what you asked; you’ll want a paid VPN service that offers split-tunnelling. For example, I’m with Express VPN and on my Mac the preferences pane allows the option of having all apps use the VPN, excluding selected apps, or only including selected apps.

   Not all VPN services offer split tunnelling, and I can’t speak to their implementation.

4. Astrill VPN has a great interface and supports application filtering. You can set it up for Spotify only.

5. If spotify has a contiguous ip range, you can easily add a route to their servers via your vpn.

   For example, if they have 78.31.8.0/21, on windows, this would be something like:

   route add 78.31.8.0 mask 255.255.248.0 <vpn gateway ip>
