هیچ کس نمی داند [who runs those companies now] (https://www.reddit.com/r/VPN/comments/62dk5w/do_you_really_trust_your_vpn_provider/)، چگونه آنها استخدام افراد و یا چگونه آنها پول صرف.
First of all, this kind of reads like an ad. I know it isn’t because of your post history, but it felt out of place enough for me to go check before responding.
Secondly, many of the privacy-violating VPNs are the free ones. They have to monetize giving all of that bandwidth away for free somehow. Pretty much all of the ways to do this involve violating customer privacy.
Thirdly, many of the “real” VPN companies do leave the identities of the owners known, specifically for the reasons that you’ve cited. All of our filings are with our names and not a shell company’s. We don’t go by pseudonyms, etc.
No, I don’t trust any VPN provider. Even if they take the best precautions, it’s possible a state actor has infiltrated the server with malware.
If I didn’t trust my provider, I wouldn’t be with them. No.1 no my list of requirements is NO affiliate programme, I don’t want a massive conflict of interest working against me with endless fake reviews and half their income being handed out to the “affiliates” instead of being spent on their service.
The VAST majority of the “big” and “popular” providers are complete shit (slow and not particularly reliable for a start which is where the myth that a vpn will slow you down comes from, its those providers that will always claim that a vpn will slow you down), they all have massive affiliate programmes, many have been caught doing dodgy things and i don’t trust them in the slightest. The reason they are so well known in the first place is the endless list of fake and unreliable “review” sites that only exist to get the affiliate money. What you will find is the ones with the most generous affiliate schemes are the ones that constantly come out as being no.1 or in the top 5 all the time. Uninformed people then all go and sign up to them not knowing any better.
I use PIA and I trust them as much as you can trust any VPN provider. Without going into detail I have been personally privy to a legal test of their no-logging policy and they passed. With the ability to purchase a subscription via anonymous source its a no brainer for me.
Buy btc from one IP. Tumblr coins to different wallets. Buy vpn with bitcoin and register vpn with dark web email. Problem solved.
Sorry I left TOR out haha that should be a given at all times for this. Vpn>tor> multiple wallets>tumble coins . etc
